October 2025 Nepal Conference
Wow! The leadership and church conference we held in October was sensational. Steve Mills, a seasoned missionary and old friend of mine from the Bethany days, joined us along with Susan Kuttruff, the mission coordinator at Buchegg Church in Zurich, Switzerland. The three of us shared sessions over the three-day meeting, and I was so encouraged by how our messages complemented one another. There was a consistent theme throughout.
Despite the recent unrest in the country, more than 10,000 church members attended. The work in Nepal has grown to over 700 churches and more than 50,000 people! I still pinch myself over what has been a journey of a lifetime. I suppose if I had never done anything else in my life, I would feel fulfilled with what the Lord has done in Nepal. God is good!
Scores of notable healings and deliverances took place during the meetings. In a land where most believers are first-generation Christians, it seems that miracles and the supernatural occur far more frequently. I’ve always felt there was a special grace for folk like these, many of whom are hearing the gospel for the first time. Their faith is at a different level, and there is a certain desperation to their need. The availability and cost of medical care in those isolated villages are prohibitive. Many of them have no other alternative but a miracle.
I’ve never had much of a miracle ministry, so I know that anything that happens among these dear Nepali believers is not my faith but theirs. I always ask them to pray for me at the end of our meetings, and on more than one occasion, I’ve left Nepal with a tangible healing. They think they are privileged by my visit, but the truth is, I envy what they have in their walk with the Lord. I always get more than I give!
As always, thanks for partnering with Bev and me in our work.
